My trip to the zoo

Hi everyone, today I will tell you about my trip to the zoo. It was an exciting and amazing experience. Each class had a guide to tell us fun facts about each and every animal we saw. My class had a guide named 'Anne'. She was a kind lady with short black hair.

First, we saw the elephants🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘. Anne told us some really interesting fun facts about the elephants.πŸ’¬

...Interesting..isn't it ..
Anne also added some more facts. But, let's move on about what happened in the zoo.

Then, Miss Anne said, "If you want to get wet, come in the front". I didn't want to miss the fun, so I went to the front. Anne put a bucket full of water in front of one of the elephants and it filled its trunk with water and blasted water on us.πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦ BOOOOOM!!!! I got really wet after this hilarious scene. While being wet, it was feeding time. We fed cucumbers for elephants. Anne also added elephants like to eat fruits🍎🍏 and veggiesπŸ…πŸ….

Later, we went to see the reptiles area🐍🐍🐒🐒🐊🐊🐊. We saw turtles, tortoises, iguanas, snakes and Nile crocodiles. Those reptiles were really interesting. I want to ask you guys what is the difference between a turtle and a tortoise??? Comment down your answer below.

After the reptiles, we saw the birds🐦🐦🐦. We saw hawks, eagles, kestrels, turkey, falcons, owls and chickens. My favorite bird was the eagle eyed owl. It had golden eyes, black, white and brown feathers mixed up.

Then Anne gave us some grass to feed the giraffe named 'Mary'. Later, me and my class went to feed other animals like donkeys, horses, goats and cows. The cows and bulls we saw were from Ireland.

After this, it was the reptile show. In the show, guides asked us questions about different kinds of animals. If we could answer them correct, we got to touch the animals. They also showed us different kinds of lizards, snakes and so on...

We also learnt how to find the difference between a male and a female tortoise..All you need to do is to feel the bottom part of the tortoise. If its bumpy it's a male. If its flat, it's a female. After that me and my classmates sat on beautiful red chairs and ate our lunch. Later, we got back on bus 🚌 and went to school πŸŽ’.

Well...that's it for today's blog!

This is me  ZOOming out ➤of the ZOO !!! yippee !!!

  3. Hi Ananya if you notice the ears of African elephants it will be bigger than Indian elephants. When compared to Indian elephants, African elephants are highly dangerous and more powerful. Indian elephants are grey in colour whereas the African elephants are black and much more taller. Like you I am also interested in watching animals.
