The day the animals went to school

Hi everyone,

I wrote a story for my school and I would like to share with you.

If you love to read...please continue

The day the animals went to school

"It is so boring and deserted in this zoo!," said the grumpy lion. "Yeah, all because of the Corona Virus!," replied the brainy bear. They were from the humongous zoo nearby a city. All the animals were frustrated because nobody visited the zoo cause of the lockdown. Everyone stayed at home and the animals wanted to impress more people but nobody ever came. It was as quiet as space.

Suddenly, the genius bear had a marvelous idea. He told the animals that they could go on a trip.
"But where will we find a map?" said the penguin. " In the zoo owner's office of course!," exclaimed the bear. "But we will never be able to pass the zoo owners easily. Nobody can!" shouted the cheetah.

Then, the bear told the animals his plan and asked the lion to roar and distract the zoo owners while he and the crocodile will sneak up to their office. The animals thought for a moment then thought it was a wonderfut idea. The lion followed what the bear told him to do and roared. When the zoo keepers tried to calm down the lion, the bear and crocodile sneaked up to the office and searched the drawers. the crocodile didn't know how to read but the bear knew how to read. So the bear asked the crocodile to bring him the piles of paper. The bear read and read when he saw a map of a mall. He knew that the mall will be full of people stacking up food for the lockdown and they needed a place deserted and fun. So the bear sighed and continued the search.

Suddenly, he came across another map. It was the map of the famous school in their city! It was the best place to visit because nobody goes to school during this time of year and the school was nearby their zoo!! There was also a security card to enter the school. So he took the map and card and left. He also took some costumes for the animals to wear. It was old and ragged but they didn't have any other choice if they wanted to go to the school.

When the bear and the crocodlie reached their cage, the bear told all about the school and asked the animals to wear the disguises so nobody will know. Quietly, the animals wore the costumes and went to the school. As they reached the school, the bear took the security card and swiped it.

Meanwhile, in the zoo, the zoo keepers hung posters on walls to ask if anyone had seen them. If anyone brought them back they will get an amazing prize.

Back at the school, the great big iron gates opened. The animals toddled to the entrance. the animals took their disguises off and left them in a corner. The bear told all the animals that they could go to any floor they want but come back at the entrance after an hour. So they went to different places.

The penguin went to a year 2 class, the crocodile stayed at the reception playing video games on a computer, the panda hanged out eating bamboo at a FS classroom, the horse practiced it's running on the running tracks in the playground, the lion practiced weight lifting to catch it's prey faster in the PE hall, the turtle cooled down in the swimming pool, the cheetah played football in the football field, the bear read books in the library to improve it's knowledge, the wolf admired the paintings on the wall and the tiger played in the stairs. After an hour, the animals met back at the entrance then wore their diguises and then went back to the zoo. They told each other about where they went and all of the them enjoyed it. But it was good to be back to the zoo.

I hope you like my story. Comment down below how it was.
