My Summer Reading 2021 book review BOOK #2 - Out Of My Mind

                               🐠Out Of My Mind🐠

BY: Sharon M Draper

Eleven year old, Melody Brooks, can't walk. Can't talk. Can't write. She has all her smart thoughts swarming through her mind, but no voice to say it. She CAN'T talk. Melody hasn't said a word in her life for eleven years.

The story is all about how Melody handles school and home problems. She has been in the same disabled kids room, H-5, for 5 YEARS! Everybody thinks Melody is dumb and thoughtless because she doesn't talk. The truth is that she is the smartest kid in the school-and nobody knows! Soon, she got a device that lets her interreact with her families and friends. Ever since that moment, she could answer people and questions in classes.

Shortly after, a quiz team appeared! It could contain questions about any subjects! Read to she how Melody deals with all the drama!

I will let you on a little secret which at the end of the book. Melody has a 2 year old sister called Penny. One day, when Melody's mom was driving her to school, Melody screamed when she saw Penny standing near the road! Of course she couldn't say it! Luckily, Penny survived. everybody said Melody was the one who saved her life. And so she did.

I really enjoyed this book as this shows how different problems the disabled children go through. And, so we should help them!

Thanks for reading!! See you in my next book review !
