Hey guys! I'm back with ANOTHER book review! This book was competitive and absolutely hilarious! This is one of my most favorite books I have ever read! ( Harry Potter is still 1st though! PS - I'm a Harry Potter Fan!). Before we get started, the author of this book is Jacqueline Davies!
πππ The Lemonade War πππ
Mainly, this book is about SIBLING RIVALRY. Well, I assume most girl/boy siblings have the most fights than any other siblings. Mind you, I'm just saying from what I heard.... Anyways, this Rivalry is between Evan Treski,10 and Jessie Treski, 8. Jessie, to start off with, is absolutely amazing at Math. She is 2nd grade but I doubt even a 4th grader can beat her( well just saying from her brother's math skillsππ±), but she can't understand peoples feelings quite as well as Evan can. During their Summer break, Evan has suddenly started to have something against her, causing him to avoid Jessie for most of the break. Jessie, as bad as reading feelings as she could be, kept on talking to him, as if there was nothing wrong. One day, they got a letter from the school saying that they have merged 2nd and 4th grade together! " This is going to be a nightmare!" thought Evan, considering his sis will embarrass him. Sooner, Evan and his friend Scott started a lemonade stand to earn some money. Jessie thought, to prove Evan she can also get along with the 4th graders, she asked one of Evan's friends, Megan, if she wanted to start a lemonade stand. And so they did, and boy did they earn a LOT of money! Jessie, not realizing that she was actually showing off, thought than Evan will now talk to her again. But, as expected, Evan thought she was trying to embarrass him by earning way more than him. Later, Jessie and Evan made a bet that whoever can earn 100 dollars by Sunday night will take all the money, including the loser's. Determined to win, both Evan and Jessie worked hard everyday to sell lemonade in the hot, scorching sunπππ₯. At the end, it did seen Jessie won, but they called it off depending on their feelings and decided to stop bickering with each other!
So, that was fun, wasn't it! Can't wait until next week! Bye!
